This roses had unfortunately got a little out of control so we had to undertake a hard prune which may impact the flowering this summer but ultimately the plant will benefit from the reshape and training. #rosepruning #rosepruningtime #roseprunetips #winterjobsinthegarden #roses

✨ Winter rose magic in action! ✨ Today we tackled some gorgeous shrub roses at a client’s garden using our trusty Niwaki secateurs – precise, comfy, and perfect for shaping without bruising. 🌹 These roses had got a little too tall and wispy, so we did some reshaping to strengthen the structure and prevent branches breaking in harsher winter weather. β„οΈβœ‚οΈ Winter pruning isn’t just tidy work – it’s all about cutting out the dead, dying, and diseased branches, giving your roses space to breathe, and encouraging strong growth.
